email mail merge from Word 2007

I was able to send an email message from Word 2000 to Outlook Express 6.0 in
HTML format.

I cannot do that with Word 2007 and Windows Mail.

Why?

Is there something I can change to get Word 2007 and Windows Mail to send
HTML mail merges?

You were probably using Microsoft Outlook, not Outlook Express, as neither
Outlook Express nor Windows Mail support HTML mail merges:

I have Office 2000, can I install just the Outlook program in it onto my
Vista OS?

If so, will Word 2007 beable to send through Outlook 2000?

If not, can I install the whole Office 2000 and use Word 2000 and Outlook
2000 in Vista?

Outlook versions older than 2003 have difficulties in Vista. See

Hal,

I checked the PC (which isn't currently connected to the Internet and can't
be used for sending emails) and I hadn't setup Outlook. I did have the IMAP
service setup in Outlook Express, so I must have been able to send HTML with
Word 2000 and Outlook Express 6.0.

Who knows?
