IE Tools > Internet Options > Programs > E-mail: If Hotmail or Windows Live
Mail is available here, select it as your default.
You cannot access your Hotmail account in Windows Mail. You can access your
Hotmail account in Windows Live Mail Desktop and make it your default Mail
Client in Vista.

I went to that link but I couldn't seem to find anything about wlmd, am I not
looking hard enough?

um ok for sum reason there is nothing about wlmd, i did however find windows
live hotmail beta, which i seem to be using now instead of my usual hotmail
page, is this anything to do with it?
