Unable to receive mail in new live mail account...
I just added live mail to my Vista desktop and my email accounts have been
transferred
over from Windows mail, but I am unable to receive mail in live mail while
it still comes
through fine in Windows mail......help!

Please copy and paste the complete error message that WM gives when you try
to get mail, to your reply here.

Check your account settings against those below.

Use the following settings for Live accounts:


POP server: pop3.live.com
Use (Port 995) Advanced Tab
POP SSL required? Yes Advanced Tab
User name: Your Windows Live ID, for example yourname@hotmail.com
Password: The password you usually use to sign in to Hotmail or Windows
Live
SMTP server: smtp.live.com
(Port 25 or 587) Advanced Tab
Authentication required? Yes (this matches your POP username and password)
TLS/SSL required? Yes Advanced Tab

Reading your post again.

You need to set your accounts in WM & WLM to leave a copy of each mail on
the server.
Tools>accounts>select your account>properties>advanced tab.
You should set one of the accounts to delete the messages from the server
after a sensible number of days, or your online mail box will fill up and
eventually reject new mail.
