Upgrading from Outlook Express to Office Enterprise 2007 Outlook
I have had to get a new PC and have installed OE 2007 and set up Outlook to
be my E-Mail
The help tells me how to import my OE files but I can't get it to work.
I have copied my OE mail folder onto the new PC, but there does not seem to
be an option to tell the Import routine where this is to import from ?

Any help would be appreciated

Regards

Keith

The newsgroup to which you posted is for the Windows Mail program.
You are more likely to find Outlook experts in the Outlook newsgroup:

microsoft.public.outlook.general (via NNTP), or via the web:

Re: Upgrading from Outlook Express to Office Enterprise 2007 Outlook
There is no OE 2007. You posted here using the replacement for OE in Vista:
Windows Mail.

To get the OE data from your old machine into MS Outlook, you'll first have
to import the OE data to Windows Mail. After doing that, you'll be able to
export the data from Windows Mail to MS Outlook.

PS: You may have to jump through a few hoops to successfully use Outlook as
your default Mail Client and Windows Mail as your default News Client.

Re: Upgrading from Outlook Express to Office Enterprise 2007 Outlook
You have to copy the OE Identity and not the individual dbx files.
If your new PC is not Vista, connect OE to the copied Identity, then in OE
Export msgs to Outlook
