Windows Mail HTML signature
As I used to do in Outlook Express, I created an HTML signature for use with
Windows Mail. Have selected it in Options/Signatures however Mail doesn't
automatically add the HTML sig to outgoing mail nor can I add it manually.
Just blank. If I doubleclick the relevant HTML file in Explorer it opens
correctly & displays my signature as expected. HTML file & sig gifs are in
C:\Sigfiles.
Thanks for the help
John

Re: Windows Mail HTML signature
did you select the FILE option and browse to the file and OK it.
did you use the ADVANCED button and assign the sig to the accounts.

did you select a DEFAULT sig.

Re: Windows Mail HTML signature
Thanks for responding.
Am setting up a brand new laptop on behalf of someone else and no mail
accounts set up as yet. Had another look since reading your post & see I have
to assign the sig to an account so am sure that's it !!!
Thanks again, you've saved me lots of head scratching !!!
Cheers

Re: Windows Mail HTML signature
also be sure and select the appropriate options at the top of the Signature window for where to insert sig.
