Reading HTML Mails with Windows Mail
Hi

I have a problem with my Windows Mail.
When I get mails which are from a webside and written in HTML Windows Mail
shows me everything in plain text (<b>test</b> instead of a fat b)
I went in "Extras | Options | Read" and there was no mark in "read all
messages in plain text."

What can I do that it will show me the text clear and not with the HTML tags.

Re: Reading HTML Mails with Windows Mail
I don't know how to stop the display of the HTML code.

Copy the code
Open Notepad
Paste
Save as message1.htm
Click on message1.htm to open in your browser.

Hm...
Yeah, I also could just ignore the HTML tags but I want to read it quick and
not alway make lots of things until I can read it.

Re: Reading HTML Mails with Windows Mail
maybe something in the way the sender is formatting the message that prevents the full plain text.

Re: Reading HTML Mails with Windows Mail
if it is only one or couple of persons ask them what they are using to compose mail.
if it is a bunch of different people, have no idea.

Re: Reading HTML Mails with Windows Mail
What program is composing the email?
What program is sending?
What ISP is sending?
What ISP receiving?
What is the encoding of the email?
What combination of the above causes the problem?
If you do a Control + F3 is there a text version of the email?
