Configuring vista email with gmail??
Keeps coming up with message;

Header download for the '[Google Mail]' folder did not complete. Could not
select '[Google Mail]' on the IMAP server. You might try refreshing your
folder list to synchronize with the IMAP server. Account: 'imap.gmail.com',
Server: 'imap.gmail.com', Protocol: IMAP, Server Response: 'Unknown Mailbox:
[Google Mail] (Failure)', Port: 993, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number:
0x800CCCD2

How do i refresh my folder list to synchronize with imap server, have
followed every other instruction to the letter however keep getting this
reply everything else is good..

your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!!

Left-Click on your gmail account. You will see a list of IMAP folders (Inbox, Deleteted Items, etc). There should be a folder with the name [Gmail].Uncheck the Syncronization box and WinMail will not attempt to download that in the future. While you are there, check or uncheck any syncronization boxes you want.

My trouble is that my mail will not purge. I delete it and it's gone. But
when I click on say... the All Mail folder again after deleting, the mail
downloads again. So I tried unclicking the Gmail folder and the All Mail
folder only to have it continue to download all the mail I just deleted.

Hope this makes sense. Help is appreciated!
