You can only do this if you have a paid-for yahoo.com account, or for
nothing if you have a yahoo.uk account or, AFAIK, a yahoo.fr account.
If you have any of those, the settings are in Yahoo help.

Can't use Windows Mail if you are in the US. In the US,
Yahoo is web accessed email, unless you pay for their
premium service. See the Yahoo help for instructions.

Another option is YPOPS. The newest version just
came out recently, hopefully some recent problems
with Yahoo have been cleared up.

US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail access only,
no POP access. Windows Mail handles POP mail but not
webmail. There are two Yahoo solutions:

1. How did you access Yahoo mail before? If you are happy with
webmail via your browser, you can continue to use that.

2. Pay Yahoo to get their premium "Mail Plus" service:

If you are OK with using a non-Yahoo email address, you have two other
solutions:
