Like many posts - can recieve email but not send it

Email account names are strictly cosmetic, and can be anything
you want. It has no effect on your email operation.

I am having problems with windows mail sending yahoo emails. I use Yahoo
plus and yahoo tell me to check the authentication box in the settings.
This causes the Logon box to appear but the password and user name are
not accepted . Is this a fault of Windows mail or Yahoo. So far talks
with Yahoo have failed to resolve this question.I never need ed
authentication until recently as mailings went out without any problems.
Does any one have a solution?

Make sure your server names and settings agree with this:

If you still get an error message, right-click on your error message,
copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.
