Old Outlook import
Ok Did the big update to VISTA. And low and behold - nothing was brought over
from Windows XP. Specifically all my old mail is the BIG issue right now.
Previous version of Outlook was 2003. I have a lot of info of downloaded
programs that I need to recall to get back on my system. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Old Outlook import
Are you saying that Outlook 2003 vanished or won't work now? Outlook 2003
should run just fine under Vista. Now, if you were expecting Windows Mail
to "take over", it won't; WM is an updated version of Outlook Express, not
Office Outlook. If you want to start using WM instead of Outlook 2003,
you'll need to export everything from Outlook to WM. Outlook 2003 should
have survived the update from XP to Vista and should still run fine.

Re: Old Outlook import
Thanks for the reply Hal. No, when I updated from XP to VISTA - none of my
previous programs carried over. I do not know what happened. I am talking no
Windows programs no QuickBooks no anything. I have since re installed a few
programs, however I need to find a way to get my old emails back. I have a
lot of references and contacts to get back. I have updated in VISTA to 2007
Office Professional. VERY frustrated right now. Thanks in advance for any
help to resolve or referral to any programs that could fix.

Re: Old Outlook import
With Outlook 2007 installed, all you should need to do is locate your old
Data (.PST) file and re-connect it to Outlook.

Reconnect your old Outlook data file
