RE: Unable to send or delete email
Found my solution.....on another area.....(or at least a fix for now until MS
comes out with one)
turn off scan emails in virus program
close windows email
Open Task Manager, Processed Tab: end process for WinMail.exe, End task
Go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, Windows Explorer, Computer, Local
Disc (C), Users, Your name (whatever you called your computer), AppData,
Local, Microsoft, Windows Mail
Copy entire Windows Mail Folder somewhere (disc, desktop etc - in case this
doesn't work for you and you need to recover it) Rename it Windows Mail 2 or
something.
Go back to original Windows Mail Folder (the one you copied from) and locate
the file named WindowsMail.MSMEssageStore........ delete this file. Then
go to backup file and find the same WndowsMail.MSMessageStore & delete
Close all windows & restart. Should be empty outbox, delete, etc.
You might have a file below Inbox, etc, that says Recovered Message with all
your old email in there.
If not, open your saved file and drag and drop the files you want to keep.
Hope this works for you
