Recovered messages folders

I cannot delete all the recovered messages folders without them coming back
the next time I open windows mail. How do I delete them permanently. Each
time I reopen I get a second set then a third set. Thanks

You have two choices.

1. (Very laborious): Do a reset of Windows Mail. Follow this procedure

2. (Much easier): Upgrade to Windows Live Mail:
