Cannot send messages via Yahoo mail
All was working fine until I started receiving the following error message
this week. Messages are in Outbox and not sending. Says over the limit for
sending messages but I haven't sent any!! Please help if possible. Dave.
Subject 'Read: OGBH', Account: 'Yahoo Mail', Server:
'smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '521 yahoo.com
closing transmission channel. Remote IP is over the limit for messages
allowed to be sent in a single day.', Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server
Error: 521, Error Number: 0x800CCC61

Oddly, my settings have worked fine for some months now and just stopped
working last week - did Yahoo change something?
Per your advice I have re-read and followed the linked yahoo page of
instructions and now have it working, with SSL switched on for the incoming
server on port 995, with the outgoing server SSL switched off on port 587 (25
and 465 do not work and raised aditional errors.)

You're welcome.
Yahoo has been slowly changing their port numbers (eventually all
localities will be on 995/465) but they are allowing a long overlap
period. At some point the older settings will cease functioning.

established. Account: 'Steve', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Protocol:
POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC1A

As far as I know, Yahoo-UK does not use port 995 or SSL.
