Received time ahead by 1 hour
All my incoming mail is always shown as received in my Inbox 1 hour ahead of
the actual time. To test this, I sent an email to myself, it shows the
correct sent time of 10:29 PM in the Sent box. Within the minute I went to
the Inbox and there was the message with a received time of 11:29 PM.

Any clues?

George

P. S. The email header shows the correct sent time (22:29).

Re: Received time ahead by 1 hour
It means that your computer's clock has the wrong time zone
or daylight saving setting.
The header on your message shows:
"Date: Fri, 15 Aug 2008 22:41:00 -0300"
That "-0300" refers to the GMT offset. For you it should say "-0400"
which would be the Eastern time zone (where you live).
So, fix your time zone and/or daylight saving setting.

Re: Received time ahead by 1 hour
Gary, thanks a million. Time Zone was on Atlantic Time, changed it to
Eastern (which automatically set the clock back 1 hour, but then I manually
reset it forward 1 hour to the correct time). Tested with another email to
myself, and problem is solved.

Thanks again for your help.

George
