Trying to set up email. on vista

Hi, i am trying to set up email so i can send and recieve, but it asks if
server is pop3 or ?? dont understand and how do i want it to send and
receive mail?? can anyone help??

Most of us here can help John, but we are not sat in your living room.

Who is your mail provider, or who do you pay for Internet Access (your ISP),
or what is after the @ in your email address. How do you connect to the
Internet, broadband, cable or dial-up, the more info the better.

We need some info to be able to help.

The free email address you posted with is not capable
of POP email. If your only email address is @live.co.uk,
you will need to install Windows Live Mail:

http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview

If your ISP offers POP email accounts, you can use those in
either Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail.
