Host smtp server could not be found

I have comcast as a provider. I mistakenly entered SMTP as my outgoing server
during a windows mail prompt. It should have been SMTP.comcast.net
I have been unable to correct this setting and cannot send mail.
Any ideas ?

Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties, Servers.
Make the change and click OK.
