Double Pop mail recieved in my inbox
I seem to get duplicate pop mails everytime I send/recieve mail.

I just set up my Microsoft mail with my yahoo pop server this morning, I am
sure it is a simple fix, does anyone know how to help me resolve this?

Thanks

Re: Double Pop mail recieved in my inbox
Go to Tools, Accounts, and make sure there isn't a duplicate mail account.

Re: Double Pop mail recieved in my inbox
I have the exact same issue and it keep redownloading all 13468 messages
every time. The messages in my yahoo account are marked as read...and I
don't have multiple accounts in the accounts field.
What gives?

Re: Double Pop mail recieved in my inbox
Marking messages as 'read' has no bearing on this issue.
Chances are, your download never completes, so next time you
connect, it starts downloading the same emails all over again.
The only way to avoid it is to go to http://mail.yahoo.com, log in,
and move all the old emails from the Inbox to a different folder.
POP clients like Windows Mail can only download from the server's
Inbox folder.
