Gmail in Windows Mail - Problems

I´ve configured my gmail acount with the instruction in gmail, but i only
obtain this error message:

A ligação ao servidor falhou. Conta: 'Ana Pauna no Gmail', Servidor:
'pop.googlemail.com', Protocolo: POP3, Porta: 995, Secure(SSL): Sim, Erro de
Socket: 10061, Número do Erro: 0x800CCC0E

Your settings look good. The only possibility I can think of is
interference from a non-compatible antivirus program. Which
antivirus are you running?
As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus must be turned off.

Note: I have trouble telling Spanish and Portuguese apart, but after running
that error message through both translators, it was obviously Portuguese.

Norton security programs are one of the top three troublemakers for
Windows Mail. It may seem fine at first, but eventually it will cause corruption.
One solution is to upgrade to Windows Live Mail, because it is less prone
to suffering bad effects from overly aggressive antivirus programs.
