Re: Read Mail Button does not Work
When you go to Default Programs, does it acknowledge that
Windows Mail has all its defaults?

Sometimes it helps to go to the "Set program access and computer defaults"
section in Default Programs, select 'Custom' and expand it. Go to the
section "Choose a default e-mail program", select Windows Mail, click OK.

Re: Read Mail Button does not Work
I got the impression that the OP may have done the
"Set your default programs" part, but he didn't necessarily
do the "Set program access and computer defaults" part.
Those two procedures have somewhat different effects.
