Unread Mail Search Folder

I had to migrate from Outlook to Windows Mail.
I have some 200 folders with rules where the new mails are sorted.

At outlook, to check the new mails, I went to the "unread mail" Search Folder
is there something like this at Windows mail?

If I cant find this, the alternative would be to (time-consuming) check this
long list of folders I have as to see which one has a mail, yet cant order
them by reception.

Not available in Windows Mail, but Windows Live Mail (which is
an easy upgrade) does have the composite "unread mail" folder,
a feature which it calls Quick View folders. You can also have
composite "Sent Items" and a few other folder views.
