Setting up email
I am trying to set up a email and I don't know the answer to a couple of the
questions 1, Incoming Mail (POP3 or IMAP) what do I put in the box and how do
I find where to get the right answer? 2, Out going server (SMTO) name, where
is the answer for this?

Re: Setting up email
Your email account provider should have a help page on their website with
the correct email server settings. If you tell us who that is, someone can
probably help.

Once you get them, click on Tools - Accounts - Add..

Re: Setting up email
If you do not know who your email service provider is, what is the
part of your email address after the @ symbol?

Re: Setting up email
You need to visit either your ISP's or your email providers help page for
these details. Just remember that if you are using Hotmail, Lycos, or other
providers that use html then you won't be able to access them with Windows
Mail. You an only access email providers with POP/SMTP/IMAP. Take a look at
this link from my website:
http://vistasupport.mvps.org/adding_...ndows_mail.htm
If you take a look at the text underneath Fig 4 this will give you an idea
of what you will need to look for on your email providers site.
