Re: windoes Vista
With Outlook installed on the Vista computer,
In Windows Mail, export to Microsoft Exchange format, it creates an
Outlook.pst file
located in
C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outl ook\

open this .pst file with Outlook.

Find the directory containing them, and make sure it is not the same
directory Windows Mail stores its files in. Also, make sure the .dbx
files are read-write instead of readonly, and they are all in one
directory on the main hard drive of your new computer. Then start
Windows Mail, click File, then Import, then Messages, then
Microsoft Outlook Express 6, then tell it what directory contain
the .dbx files, then click OK.

Note that you often need a full set of .dbx files to make this work
well, not all the messages combined into one .dbx file.

This program may or may not help with that; spend more time looking
before paying for it than I found time for.
