Live messenger stops working when starting webcam

Live messenger works ok, HP Laptop built in webcam works ok using Cyberlink
YouCam software,but when I try to use the webcam for video chat it always
goes through audio and video setup, when I select tha cam to use Messenger
always crashes out. All updates are installed. Re-installing has not made a
difference.
Doing my head in now.......

Sorry, but that has nothing to do with the newsgroup in which you posted.
