I can't send emails

When creating and trying to send new e-mails, I get "Unable to attach
business card to message. Do you want to send any way? 'Yes' 'No'" If I
click "Yes", a message comes up saying "The message could not be sent.
An error has occurred".

Send e-mails: "The message could not be sent. The authentication
setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For
help solving this problem, go to Help, search for Troubleshoot Windows
Mail, and read the 'I'm having problems sending e-mail' section. If you
need help determining the proper ser
ver setting, please contact your e-mail service provider.
The rejected e-mail address was _'keith.swift@orange.fr_. Subject
'Test'. Account pop.orange.fr. Protocol SMTP; Server Response '554
_keith.swift@orange.fr'_; Recipient address rejected: Missing
authentication. Port: 25, Secure (SSL). No. Server Error 554, Error
Number: OX800CCC79."

I can receive emails without a problem. Can anyone advise thank you?

Since the error says "missing authentication", have you tried
adding authentication? Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account,
Properties, Servers, check the box for "My server requires authentication."

Re: I can't send emails

Thank you Gary thats great it has fixed the problem with my Orange
account. However my second account still won't send, it just asks me to
verify the user name and password which I have done then asks me to do
the same again. Any ideas?

If you click Cancel, does it then display an error message?
If so, include a copy of that.
Also, which antivirus are you running?
