receiving problemes

When switching form outlook X6 to vista's windows mail, i am experiencing
limited receiving
Some messages (mostly spam and my-space notifications) are received fine,
but important messages and communiques from other sources (hotmail and
outlook) are not seen or downloaded

I don't think you can down load Hotmail in Windows mail

Messages sent by Outlook are usually in the RTF format, which only Outlook
seems to be able to open. You could ask the senders to use some other
format, if you want to be able to read them.
