It's not anything in Windows Mail. Apparently this is a requirement
imposed by your mail provider. Which mail servers are you using?

Re: HELP - Incoming/outgoing email having to change a setting ever
Baatzconsulting.com is a private domain, not an ISP. As such, it is
difficult for me to determine what the correct email settings should be.
I know of no reason, off-hand, why you would be required to use
marissa+baatzconsulting.com when sending. You should talk to
customer support for the company that is hosting Baatzconsulting.com:
http://www.webintellects.com/support/customercare.htm

As a workaround, you can substitute your ISP's SMTP server for
smtp.baatzconsulting.com.

Marissa, now that your real email address has appeared in a newsgroup
(this one or any others) you are likely to start getting lots of junk
mail. "Spammers" read these groups with "Robots" - mail address
gathering software - and collect valid email addresses for later abuse.

I would suggest that you find the person who administers your domain,
your company IT person I imagine, and explain to them the situation. He
or She will have all the details you need and can explain whether there
is a mistake or not. You might also be wise to ask for a second email
address in case this one gets bombarded with junk. Perhaps just adding
the first letter of your second name etc.

As Gary said we can take a "Guess" at settings for common ISPs but for
private systems like yours we cannot, and probably should not
