Junk E-mail Filter

Hi, please,
I've read and reread the documentation on the junk email filter, but, how
can I make it go away? It regularly dumps all my important mail into the
junk file and after its latest update it threw about 60% of my mail into the
junk file.
How can I pull the plug?
