Re: Can Not Delete Email
Use this Microsoft fix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941090
Although it only mentions Outbox, it works for all mail folders.

Hello Charles,
This will help show you how to fix the stuck undeletable email message
problem in Windows Mail for all folders.
The KB941090 update will just fix the problem for now. You must stop
the cause to prevent it from happening again. Read the "First" section
in this tutorial about antivirus and security programs to help prevent
this from happening again, then install the KB941090 Microsoft Update in
the "Second" section to fix the stuck message problem.

Yes, but we get about a dozen complaints like that every day and
can't remember them all. Have you tried this:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090
Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders.

RE: Can Not Delete Email
Hi Folks, Help please. I chose this question only because it is recent and
maybe someone will see my cry for help. I'd like to pose a question but every
time I click on new, ( it turns red, and drop down appears, and I chose
question) nothing happens, so I am trapped. Can't ask a question.

Go ahead and write out your question.
We prefer you start a new thread, but if you can't, use whatever means
that are available to you.

Re: Can Not Delete Email
Thank you, Gary. My question is, and I preface it by saying I'm techno
challenged; I understand that spammers go alphabetically and numerically by
computer sending out their emails and that the longer and more difficult you
make your user name the tougher it is for them to reach you. Is it possible
to have a picture,of anyone or anything, in place of your user name ? And if
it were possible would it stop spamming? I notice Windows gives you a choice
of an icon like a flower to represent yourself. But if it were a thumbnail
photo and it was copyrighted no one else could use it, could it work?

Re: Can Not Delete Email
No, you can't have a picture as your username.
The username part of an email address is pretty much limited to
normal alpha-numeric characters.
