closing mail
I bought a new computer yesterday and it has windows mail. The problem is
that when i close windows mail, the next time I open it I get a message that
windows mail did not close properly. I closed it by the X and by file, close.
Still get the same message. What am I doing wrong?

Re: closing mail
That problem can be caused by a non-compatible antivirus program.
Which antivirus are you running?

Re: closing mail
Trend Micro PC-cillin is one of the top three troublemakers for Windows Mail.
(The other two are Norton and McAfee.)
As a minimum, you must configure your antivirus *not* to scan emails.
Sometimes that fixes the problem, but often it is not sufficient, in which case
the antivirus program must be uninstalled if you want a trouble-free Windows Mail.

Another option is upgrading to Windows Live Mail, which is less prone
to suffering problems from aggressive antivirus products.
