unable to open attachments

I am having a problem opening attachments with windows mail and it seems like
I am not the only one. Has anyone figure it out yet? Pls help

what exactly are you having problems with....are you getting any error messages? how are you trying to open the attachments?

What type of attachments?

If you intend to edit these files, you should ALWAYS save the attached files
first,
close the message, then go open the saved file.

this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. create an association in the set association control panel. how do
you do this?

Start - Default Programs - Associate a file type or protocol with a program

but you need to know what program should be used to open it.

Thank you all for the help. I've tried everything but none of them help.
Still can't open all types of attachments, pdf, excel, word. Tried to open it
on the page, tried saving it, none work, can't even save it. Not giving me an
error message either, so I really don't know what it is?

Have tried to save the attachment?
sve the attachment and open it sepasrately that work for me try it, see if
work for you.

If you can't save attachments, try this:
Tools, Options, Security, uncheck "Do not allow attachments..."

If no improvement, which antivirus are you running?
