I use free aol email where do I find server info to set up windows mail?

My understanding is that AOL's free email accounts are web-based.
Windows Mail does not handle web mail.

I finally found the addresses which are imap.aol.com and smtp.aol.com and my
files are importing now

Wow, that works with free AOL email accounts?
I was given to understand that AOL's IMAP email service was only
for premium (paid) AOL accounts.

Well, I will never put AOL software on any of my computers.
I've had bad experiences with AOL software.
I do have a freebie AOL email account and was hoping I
could access it via Windows Mail.
