NEED to change password and windows live won't let me!
I am using windows live and need to change my password. I know how to do it
but when i go to properties and servers and change it, it doesn't work. I
still can only log in with the old password. Someone else has access to my
emails so just locking my computer is not an option because they can access
my emails from their computer. So annoying! Outlook express was so much
better than live mail. Please help!

You could always revert to Windows Mail in Vista?

If you want to continue using Windows Live Mail, the newsgroup to post your
problem to is:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...e.mail.desktop

Claire, you need to log on to your mail provider's web interface to change
your account password, you can't do it on your PC/Laptop.

Do you know how to reach your mail provider's web interface?

If not tell us who it is, and someone here will find it for you.

This newsgroup is for discussing Windows Mail, not Windows Live Mail.
Try newsgroup:

microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

Also, you'll probably have to change it at your email provider before
changing it in your email program. Webmail interfaces sometimes
provide a way to do this.

Claire, please include at least part of the message that you are replying
to, so that others can understand what you are referring to.

Try this link, change the dropdown to ntlworld.com, log in and hopefully you
should be able to change your PW?
