boot mgr missing, have no installation cd

hi,
does anyone know how i can repair my computer vista, i did not receive an installation pack, when i called the company they told me it is already installed in my hard drive. As i am a novice when it comes to computers, i dont really understand this, i have had many problems with this computer. when i call this company i seem to be talking to people all around the world, who i dont understand, and im sure they have the same problem with me, Can i buy an installation cd somewhere, i would be grateful to any suggestions,

What brand computer is it? We can help you access the restore
partition on your hard drive. Sounds like you would only need to
run the repair option, choosing the 'repair startup files' sub-option.

Many thanks gary for your reply, the make of the computer is iqon, it doesnt allow me do anything, it comes up bootmgr is missing, im then prompted to press ctrl alt and delete, to restore it, every time i do this it comes back the same, ive repeated this process at least 20 times.

There is some limited troubleshooting advice here:

Since I don't have access to a copy of the user manual for that
computer, I can't advise you how to enable the restore procedure.
