Re: Windows Security Pop up while sending email
I don't see any obvious mistakes. The malfunctioning account
may have become corrupt, so try deleting it, restarting Windows Mail,
then recreating that account. If no joy, one workaround is to replace
srv6.890m.com with mail.suruga-it.com as the outgoing mail server
in that malfunctioning account. You would also need to change the port
from 465 to 25, and use the custom SMTP authentication settings.

Re: Windows Security Pop up while sending email
I re-created the email accounts as well as changing the passwords. Now,
the security popup is gone BUT I'm receiving this error again:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'test', Account:
'Suruga.Admin', Server: 'mail.suruga-it.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Note: It takes like 20sec. displaying "FINDING HOST..." then another 20secs.
"CONNECTING..."
then there's the ERROR MESSAGE....

I have a COMODO firewall & my anti-virus is AVG 7.5

How to solve this?

Re: Windows Security Pop up while sending email
Did you use the standard install for AVG? If so, it will be less likely
to cause problems in Windows Mail if you uninstall it, then do a
custom install where you tell it to leave out the part that scans email.

http://free.grisoft.com/ww.download?prd=afe

Also, have you ever had a Norton or McAfee antivirus program on
that computer? If so, their uninstall procedures often fail to remove the
parts of them that cause problems in Windows Mail.

Re: Windows Security Pop up while sending email
I responded in your other thread entitled "security issue to error message".
Please, only one thread per issue.
