HELP!? Can you combine your windows mail with a web based email account ie Hotmail????

Anyone figured this out. Brand new laptop.. trying to figure it out. I
wanted to use my hotmail account that I've had for years but when I follow
the steps.. tools.. accounts.. add.. option for web based email.. sign up..
sign in.. then I just get an error message HTTP 404? Anyone able to solve my
problem?? Would be amazing if you could?? Thanks!

Windows Mail does not support HTTP
accounts...if you happen to have MS
Outlook it should work.

I use HotPop (hot popper) a free program to read hotmail from vista WM.

Windows Mail does not support HTTP
