email link failure
Good afternoon all,
just recently I have been unable to open any links that appear in emails. I receive the message 'application not found'.
e,g. To complete your registration, please visit this url:
http://www.vistaheads.com/forums/register.php?a=act&u=10389&i=91004953
This failed as has all other links I have received from various people
Normally one would open the relative page without further ado.
Cutting & pasting to the web browser often gives the same rejection.
Is this problem linked to the recent service pack download?
Any suggestions will be gratefully received.
Pete

Re: email link failure
Go to Control Panel | Programs and set IE and WinMail as defaults and see if
that fixes the issue. If you copy and paste the link into the IE address
bar and the link does not go to the destination, then its not a WinMail
issue.
