Retest Deletion of a File
hello

for One do you have the rights to delete ??? I.E you may have your UAC (user access controls turned on)

Or you ; may have your Folder Options / IE Set to Not except changes... This will reset any changes to a file / Folders to how it was before you open it after it is closed

I would also I would try going to your I.E properties & resting your Explorers Default setting back to Default and

And If that does not work !

you should go to the File that you can not delete and make sure it is not set up as READ ONLY as
some attachments are Read only especially if there are system files...

Off Course there is then Old tried & true & not recommended

& I've seen this work several times

If you the CUT <edit --> CUT the File in Question...the
this removes it from actually being any where with the Attributes are in play sort of minus the clip board's...
Then ' power off your station {YEP on/off } Your file will be stuck in Limbo with the clipboard and will be erased with the flushing of MEMORY and Cache

....

Subject: Why can't delete messages from the "Deleted Items" Folder
Date: Saturday, April 26, 2008 4:48 AM

For some reason I can no longer delete any messages from the "Deleted Items"
folder. I've tried to delete one message at a time and also tried to "Empty
Deleted Items" from the the menu without any sucess. This just started
yesterday, was working fine for the last 8 months.
