outlook express to window mail
My old computer got hit by lightning and I had to buy a new one. I now have
Vista.
My old computer was XP and I had Outlook Express.
I have installed my old hard drive as a slave in my new computer, and I've
been able to transfer everything over thank goodness, but I cannot get my
Outlook Express mail that was there, transferred over.
When I got to import it, I get a message that says it is not available.
Does anyone have any ideas for me to try, I have a lot of important
information that I need to retrieve.
Thanx!

You probably need to take ownership of the folder and files. Either that, or
copy ALL the dbx files into a folder in your Documents and ensure that they
all have the Read-Only attribute turned off.
