Can receive e-mails but cannot send

This is the error message I receive. I have Bullguard Protection and have
wireless.

Does your connection to that server cross over from one internet provider's
equipment to anothers before it gets to the server? Note that wireless
connections sometimes use a neighbor's wireless server instead of yours,
and therefore start out on your neighbor's internet provider's equipment
instead of your's. If so, such connections to port 25 are often blocked
to cause trouble for spammers, and you need to ask your email provider
if their email server listens for outgoing mail on any port other than port
25,
and if so, where to find the details of switching to the other port. Just
trying all the ports is a very slow way to find out, since there are about
65,000 ports available.

If there are messages building up in the Outbox but not going out,
see what happens if you try to move all of them to the Drafts
folder or delete them. Let us know if any refuse to do either.

Disable email scanning if you have it enabled.

If disabling email scanning in your antivirus does not bring relief,
the next step would be to uninstall it completely. If that cures the
problem, we can recommend a free antivirus that is compatible
with Windows Mail.
