Font Size in Windows Mail

How can I change it so that I can use Font Size 11 in my windows mail when
creating a new email. It seems to let me set it in the fonts but then when
an email is opened it has a 10 option or the 12 option which means my
signature is coming out as a 10 instead of an 11 as well

You should be able to set the font size under Tools | Options | Compose for
HTML messages. The font size for plain text messages is dictated by Tools |
Options | Read | Fonts.

What a coincidence Stephen L. : yesterday evening I surfed on your OEhelp
website to find an info . . . I did not find (and visited Pickering,
Majik's sites also). I remember your name/help on stationery groups 4-5
years ago . . . When I saw your name, I jump on the opportunity hoping
you could help me.

Two days ago, I bought a new computer with Windows Vista. I am getting
ajusted and trying to find my way with patience. Do you know what could be
done/fixed, so images, music and other stuff would embed in the source of a
stationery with html script codes ? I've been reading here and there,
without success. Any idea ?

Hi La Divine,

It will work just as in OE. You have to put WinMail into the Internet zone
(Tools | Options | Security) to enable scripts to work. Then you have to
include pictures with messages under Tools | Options | Send | HTML settings.

Otherwise its not so different than OE, except there are some neat tricks
one can do. <VBG>

Sorry, most of the fonts available when composing a HTML email
do not have size 11. You will have to choose between 10 and 12.

Well, if it will be the same as with OE . . . , this is good news.
I might not have understood what you mean by "put WinMail" into the Internet
zone . . . .
I checked IE under the Security Tab and went through all security
parameters, without finding something about Windows Mail . . .
It surprised me.
Is there a special place where I should have looked ? I have IE 7.

After reading a few posts, I feel this Microsoft newsgroup is excellent to
learn to manage Windows Vista, which I find . . . . slow unfortunately.

You're looking at the security tab in the wrong program. Start Windows
Mail, then click Tools in its main window, then Options, then Security,
then click on the circle before Internet zone (Less secure, but more
functional), then Apply, then OK.

How much RAM memory do you have? Many new PCs come with
as little as 512 MB, even though Vista runs slower with this amount.
It runs better with more, such as 2 GB.

Hi La Divine,

Its under Tools | Options | Security in WinMail. You may also have to
adjust settings in IE depending upon the stationery.

Also, in WinMail the stationery directory has moved to the message store
directory, so some stationery won't work unless you put it in that
directory. If you compose a new HTML message in WinMail, then go to View |
Source Edit and click the Source tab and look at the <BASE href and that
will specify the path to the stationery folder.

Being a big fan of making creative stationeries from greAt scripts,
this is the first place I change.

2) ..... you don't know La Divine, Robert who is following computer
progresses.
It's kind of you to ask and check. It's a HP 3 Go and RAM 400 Go
