emails

just got a new computer. I want it to tell me when I have a new email. I've
set up my email account in windows mail and my emails are coming through. Is
there any way I can have something fly across my screen shouting "you've got
new mail" or something. Its just that I always forget to look. Please help!!

I haven't seen anything for Windows Mail that will do that,
but if you upgrade to Windows Live Mail, you can also have Windows
Live Messenger installed simultaneously, and that combination will do
what you want.

If WM is open you should see an icon on the lower right of your screen
(taskbar) when new mail is received.

I don't know the answer to your question but do you know how to make windows
mail your default? I am having problems with it... and everytime I am on the
internate and want toreply in email outlook pops up..
