I actually had the exact same problem - here is how to fix it (no need for
patches and no need to ignore it)
You have to delete your email account (by going to tools and click accounts,
then highlight and remove your email account) Now don't worry, you won't
lose any of your contacts or your emails in your inbox and stuff. Once that
is done, you will be able to delete the email which is causing you problems,
and don't forget to then go into your deleted items box and delete it from
there as well.
Next go back to tools and accounts, and re-create your email account the
exact same way you did when you first did it (if you are unsure how, ring
your internet provider and they will h elp you). Alternatively, you can copy
all the information before you delete the account in the first place.
Hope you can understand this, cause it worked for me... after Microsoft
tried to charge me $80 for troubleshooting - I troubleshoot my own problem..
