MAIL RECEIVED ICON

I've lost my mail recieved icon. How do I get it back, please?

Also in XP I used to have a nice cheery "You've got some mail..." WAV file
play when the mail received icon was activated. But in Vista it only plays
when I open the email, which is a bit too late...

Tools, Options, General, "Play sound when new messages arrive."
Looks like you can customize the "Mail Received" sound in
Control Panel, Sound, Sounds.
