In addition to what Dave said, WLM has many more features than WM:
Real-time spell checker (like in Outlook, it marks typos immediately
with a red squiggly underline).
Auto-correction of commonly misspelled words (changes 'teh'
to 'the', and 'i' to 'I').
Better auto-completion when typing in recipients.
Contacts group feature is more flexible.
