attachments not opening

I am now working with Vista Home Premium for over a month with little
trouble, however since a couple of days I cannot open any of the attached
documents, even documents that have been openend before!!

Any suggestionas???

This is a known issue with some antivirus software. Try disabling email
scanning and see if that fixes it. If not, then uninstall the antivirus
software and see if that fixes it. see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

Hi,

Please try the following steps:

1) Click on Tools
2) Click on Options
3) Click on the Tab Security
4) Uncheck the option "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that
could potentially be a virus."

Let me know if that works. You can also try disabling the Email scanning
feature of your antivirus, if that doesnot work try disabliing your antivirus
program to see if that is causing the conflict.
