imap folder and gmail

All of a sudden I am getting a message on my imap connection on gmail.

Cannot sync...., Unknown flolder on Server.

I do not know how the folder got on my mail system, but I cannot delete it.

Can you connect to gmail using webmail and see if you can find and delete
the new folder?

gmail does not have have folders. It has labels.

I solved the problem by
1. creating the folder in mail unger my gmail account.
2. Deleting or hiding the folder.

No error messages any more.

Seems to be an incompatability with gmail and vista mail.

It is working now.
