Reset Windows Mail as Default

I downloaded and installed Windows Live Mail. I checked the box for it to
become the default mail reader.

Is there any way I can make the original Windows Mail the default once
again? I have a little more work to do with it before I switch over to
Windows Live Mail.

You don't really need Windows Mail to be the default in order
to work with it, but if you insist:
Open the Default Programs applet, which you can access either from
the Start menu or via the Control Panel, then click the first item:
"Set your default programs."
After a few seconds, a list of programs comes up. Click on Windows
Mail. If it doesn't respond with "This program has all its defaults"
then fix it by clicking on the option indicated by the first green arrow.
