Windows mail opens minimized
Every time that I open Windows Mail from Internet Explorer, it opens minimized. I must then manually maximize it. I have googled this problem and find it as a general problem in VISTA without any solutions listed, or shall I say that all the solutions listed, like draging or increasing the window size and then to close it, does NOT work.
Surely there has to be a working solution. Can anybody help please?

The only solution I've seen is to avoid clicking the maximize button,
but to drag the edges of the window out to the size you want (even
if it then covers the whole screen) and then close it at this size.

When you say "minimized" do you mean that all you see is the button in the
taskbar?
If not then the drag of the edges should work, but close it straight away
after resizing, without using the program.
Now if, as I suspect, you only see the button?
Right click on the button and choose "move" from the context menu, use your
Arrows to position the window, left click to release move, now drag the
edges and close.
It should now open as previously closed.
You will need to do this for each method of accessing WM, either directly or
from a mail-to link etc.
HTH?

Does not work
Steve, when I press the mail tab on IE Command Bar then Windows Mail will immediate show up in my Taskbar. In order to open it I must click on it in the taskbar. It will ten immediatly open maximized.
The problem is that each and every time it will just open a tab in the Taskbar but will not open itself up.
Nothing that I do, maximizing, stretching, dragging etc will work. A number of people are complaining about the exact same thing if you google the problem, but no solution. It is very irritating
