Permanently Delete Rule
Has anybody figured out if you can create a rule to permanently delete
e-mail? You can create a rule to delete--but the e-mail just moves over to
the delete folder--unread. Not a great help for spam e-mails which keep
getting through my spam software--I used to be able to create a rule and I'd
never see from that sender again--anywhere. If I use delete it from the
server--it still downloads it.

Re: Permanently Delete Rule
You can delete from the server but you are limited on the criteria you can
use.

You can not check for text in a message or if it has an attachment because
the message has to be downloaded to determine that.

If you use the delete mail from server, be sure to use Stop Processing More
Rules when finished.

see http://www.mindspring.com/~majik/messagerules.htm for some ideas on
filtering IN your email.
