duplicate email
When I send an email, the person receiving them gets two identical messages.
When I click send /receive, it checks twice for new emails. It's annoying.

Re: duplicate email
Make sure your antivirus program is NOT configured to scan emails:
http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3
Turn off email scanning in your antivirus software.

Re: duplicate email
Outbound scanning is disabled. That was the first thing I did.
Don't know what else to do.

Re: duplicate email
Turn off email scanning completely, then remove your mail account, close and
reopen WinMail and then add it back again. Then see if that fixes it.

Re: duplicate email
Wow, solid evidence that antivirus email scanning causes
all sorts of damage to Windows Mail.

RE: duplicate email
found that Vista had installed two identical user accounts...go into accounts
and see if you have two of the same...I deleted one of them and it fixed the
problem of sending two emails at the same time...
